SWE/ Färgen hos Berlin/Preussiskt blått beror på elektronernas ”hopp” från järnatomen Fe(II) till Fe(III). Denna energiöverföring absorberar allt orange-rött ljus och det reflekterade ljuset framträder som blått.
ENG/ The color of Berlin/Prussian Blue is due to the “jump” of electrons from the iron atom Fe(II) to Fe(III). This energy transfer absorbes all orange-red light and the reflected light appears blue.

September 10 at 5 p.m. EDT in the Patrick Ma Digital Scholarship Lab at the Rockefeller Library, in conjunction with the opening of "Shared Magma" at the John Hay Library, Brown University, Providence, RI, USA.
The film Ritual 2022 is an experimental documentary by Vague Research Studios and a collaboration between Kajsa G. Eriksson, Lena Berglin and Maria Magnusson. It explores the greed for energy as a social phenomenon, and employs ritual as an artistic method. The result is a meditative journey of hope and renewal, and a poignant reminder of how consumption is destroying this world. Distribution by Filmform

Kajsa G. Eriksson
SWE/ Född i Ulricehamn och med ateljé i Göteborg. Erikssons konstnärskap präglas av ett berättande genom utvidgat måleri, rumslig gestaltning och deltagarpraktiker. Återkommande är ett intresse för människans performativa synlighet och relationer med andra, naturen och sig själv. Hon utvecklar pigment och akvarellfärger som ger måleriet en konkret relation till platsbaserade, kulturella och natur-vetenskapliga processer. Vague Research Studios är en plattform för gemenskap och utforskande praktiker, där driver hon konstnärliga projekt i samarbete med andra konstnärer, institutioner och föreningar. www.vrstudios.se

A recurring theme is an interest in human performative visibility and relationships with others, nature, and oneself. She develops pigments and watercolors that give her painting a concrete relationship to place-based, cultural, and natural-scientific processes.
